Barley Pilaf
Ingredients:
barley, hulled
butter, without salt
soup, chicken broth or bouillon, dry
Directions:
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Add barley and stir until coated with butter.
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Cover.
Turn heat to simmer and cook 10-12 minutes or until barley is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
