Sausage & ricotta penne

Ingredients:
4 pepperoni sausages
1 onion, finely chopped
1 fennel bulb, chopped
1 tablespoon a lot more virgin olive oil
150ml/5fl oz crimson wine
100ml/31⁄2fl oz passata or tomato sauce
3 tablespoons chopped fresh new basil leaves
300g/11oz dried penne
100g/4oz ricotta cheese
50g/2oz Parmesan cheese, recently grated
salt and recently flooring
black pepper

Directions:
First, put the sausages in just a frying pan and deal with with water. Provide to the boil, then simmer till the water evaporates. Neat, remove the meat in opposition to the casings and crumble.
Then, fry the onion and fennel within the oil until finally smooth. Incorporate the sausage, wine and passata or tomato sauce. Cook for 10 minutes. Include the basil and year with salt and pepper.
Then, cook the penne within evenly salted boiling water until finally al dente, then drain. Stir within the sauce.
Finally, put 1 tablespoon ricotta upon every plate. Spoon the pasta about the ultimate, and sprinkle with Parmesan.
