Dough for Fluffy Steamed Meat Buns
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, cake, enriched
wheat flours, bread, unenriched
leavening agents, yeast, baker's, active dry
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
sugars, granulated
water, bottled, generic
oil, olive, salad or cooking
salt, table
Directions:
Place all the ingredients into the bread machine, except for the water and vegetable oil, and start the dough course.
When the dry ingredients have been incorporated, pour in the water gradually.
When the dough has come together, pour in the vegetable oil.
It should take about 15 minutes to knead the dough.
Let the dough rise until twice the original size.
Divide the dough into 10-12 portions, roll into balls, and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Flatten out the dough so the centers are thicker than the outer edges, place the filling in the center and wrap.
Let the buns rise again for 15-20 minutes, and steam them for 12-15 minutes.
