Buttermilk and Stawberry Sorbet
Ingredients:
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
sugars, granulated
syrups, corn, light
strawberries, raw
sugars, granulated
Directions:
To prepare sorbet, combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Pour mixture into the freezer can of an ice-cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
Spoon sorbet into a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze 1 hour or until firm.
To prepare strawberries, combine strawberries and 1 tablespoon sugar; let stand 10 minutes.
Spoon berries into serving bowls, and top with sorbet.
Serve 3/4 cup sorbet with 3/4 cup strawberries.
