Apple Betty

Yield: 1 pan, 12 x 20 inches (30 x 50 cm)

Ingredients:
- 8 lb EP (4 kg EP) Apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 lb 8 oz (750 g) Sugar
- 11�"2 tsp (7 mL) Salt
- 1 tsp (5 mL) Nutmeg
- 1 tsp (15 mL) Grated lemon zest
- 2 fl oz (60 mL) Lemon juice
- 2 lb (1 kg) Yellow or white cake crumbs
- 8 oz (250 g) Melted butter

Directions:
1. First, merge the apples, sugar, salt, nutmeg, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a bowl. Throw carefully until very well blended.
2. Next, room one-3rd of the apple mix in an even layer in a very well-buttered baking pan measuring 12 x 20 in. (30 x 50 cm).
3. Then, top with one-3rd of the cake crumbs.
4. Then, move forward until all the apples and crumbs comprise been utilized. You will incorporate 3 levels of fruit and 3 levels of crumbs.
5. Then, pour the melted butter lightly around the best.
6. Finally, bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour, until fruit is soft.
