Tofu House Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
sugars, granulated
molasses
tofu, raw, regular, prepared with calcium sulfate
vanilla extract
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F
Cream margarine, sugar and molasses until light and fluffy.
Add tofu puree and vanilla; beat for 1 more minute.
Mix flours, soda and salt in small bowl.
Add to creamed mixture and mix at low speed.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
