Hazelnut Brown Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
rice, white, long-grain, regular, unenriched, cooked without salt
soup, vegetable broth, ready to serve
water, bottled, generic
soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
sauce, worcestershire
butter, without salt
salt, table
spices, pepper, black
nuts, hazelnuts or filberts
Directions:
In a medium saucepan over high heat, mix together the rice, broth, water, soy sauce, Worcestershire, butter, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil; transfer mixture to a 2 quart casserole dish that has been coated with cooking spray.
Cover and bake in a 350F oven for about 1 hour or until the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in nuts just before serving.
