Crunchy Dessert Topping

Ingredients:
sugars, brown
lemon juice, raw
wheat germ, crude
oil, olive, salad or cooking
nuts, pecans

Directions:
In a large skillet, combine the brown sugar and lemon juice.
Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes or until the sugar has melted.
Stir in the wheat germ and oil, and cook, stirring frequently for 9 minutes or until richly brown.
Stir in the pecans and cook for 1 minute.
Cool to room temperature, transfer to an airtight container, and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Freeze for longer storage.
