The Best Granola Ever

Ingredients:
oats
seeds, sunflower seed kernels, dried
shortening confectionery, coconut (hydrogenated) and or palm kernel (hydrogenated)
seeds, pumpkin and squash seeds, whole, roasted, without salt
nuts, almonds
nuts, pecans
wheat germ, crude
seeds, sesame seeds, whole, dried
seeds, flaxseed
water, bottled, generic
oil, olive, salad or cooking
honey
molasses
spices, cinnamon, ground
salt, table
vanilla extract

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees F.
In a very large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients Rolled Oats through Ground Flax Seed; mix well.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine remaining ingredients Water through Vanilla Extract; mix well with a small whisk.
Heat until hot, but do not boil.
When hot, pour syrup over dry ingredients and stir to combine thoroughly.
Spread Granola on a jelly roll pan or other large cookie sheet-type pan with sides.
Bake at 300 degrees for 40 45 minutes total, stirring every 15 minutes.
Let cool.
Store in an airtight container for up to six months.
*You may add dried fruit, if desired, after the baking process.
