Buttermilk Bran Scones

Ingredients:
cereals, oats, regular and quick, unenriched, cooked with water (includes boiling and microwaving), without salt
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
leavening agents, baking soda
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt

Directions:
Mix cereal and buttermilk in small bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda in large bowl.
Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in cereal mixture just until soft dough forms.
Place dough on lightly floured surface; knead until smooth.
Roll out to 12x4-inch rectangle.
Cut into 4-inch squares; cut each square into 4 triangles.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425F for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
Serve warm.
