Rice with Puttanesca Sauce

Ingredients:
plums, raw
olives, ripe, canned (small-extra large)
olives, ripe, canned (small-extra large)
capers, canned
spices, garlic powder
oil, olive, salad or cooking
spices, basil, dried
parsley, fresh
salt, table
spices, pepper, red or cayenne
rice, white, long-grain, regular, unenriched, cooked without salt

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, olives, capers, garlic and oil.
Add the basil, parsley, salt and red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
Cover and let stand at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over the hot cooked rice.
