Peach Leathers
Ingredients:
peaches, yellow, raw
sugars, granulated
Directions:
Puree the peaches in a food processor.
Add sugar to taste.
Spread some nonstick tin foil in a cookie sheet with raised edges.
Pour the peach mixture onto the cookie sheet and spread to a thin even layer.
Cook on the lowest setting of your oven (you arent really cooking the mixture, you are just drying it out) for 4 to 8 hours until mixture is solid.
Once the mixture is dried out, you can slice it into strips and wrap in waxed paper or Saran wrap.
(You can also put this mixture on a tray in a dehydrator if you have one.
I do not.
So I make them the slow way.)
