Great Pie Crust
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
lard
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together and then mix in lard in chunks, using a fork or hand pastry blender.
Add milk.
Continue working with fork until just blended.
Roll out and fill pie plates as needed.
