Candy-coated Chocolate Pieces Gift Jar Cookie Mix

Makes 3 dozen cookies

Ingredients:
All-purpose flour
Baking soda
Salt
Ground cinnamon
Walnuts
Raisins
Brown sugar
Oats

Directions:
1. Mini candy-coated chocolate baking bits
2. In medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
3. In 1-quart clear glass jar with tight fitting resealable lid, layer flour mixture, walnuts, 1/2 cup "candy-coated chocolate pieces" Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, raisins, brown sugar, remaining 1/2 cup "candy-coated chocolate pieces" Chocolate Mini Baking Bits and oats. Seal jar; wrap decoratively and attached recipe tag with instructions.
4. Candy-coated chocolate pieces Gift Jar Cookies:.
5. 3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks).
6. 1 large egg.
7. 3/4 tsp vanilla extract.
8. Preheat oven to 340°F Lightly grease cookie sheets; set aside.
9. In large bowl beat butter, egg and vanilla extract until well blended.
10. Stir in contents of jar until well blended.
11. Roll into 1 inch balls and place about 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
12. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
13. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets; cool completely on wire racks.
14. Store in tightly covered container.
