Eggless Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
sugars, brown
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
bananas, raw
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
Directions:
Note: This recipe does NOT contain eggs or milk.
In a large bowl, cream sugars and butter for about 5 minutes (mixture does not get smooth).
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with bananas, beating after each addition (the batter will be thick).
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Spoon into a greased 9-inch x 5-inch x 3-inch loaf pan (I used three 5.75 x 3 inch loaf pans).
Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until bread tests done with a toothpick.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
