Pennsylvania Dutch Light Ginger Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
vinegar, distilled
spices, ginger, ground
salt, table
leavening agents, baking soda
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched

Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix thoroughly butter, sugar and vinegar.
Blend in remaining ingredients.
(If dough is too stiff work in lowfat milk 1 teaspoon at a time.)
Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured surface.
Cut into desired shapes.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 6-8 min.
Cold slightly and remove from baking sheets.
Makes 4 dozen 3 inch cookies.
