Broccoli with Cheese Sauce (3 points)
Ingredients:
broccoli, raw
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
cheese, cheddar
mustard, prepared, yellow
salt, table
Directions:
Cook broccoli until crisp/tender.
Drain broccoli, return to sauce pan.
In a small sauce pan whisk flour into milk.
Bring to a boil, constantly whisking.
Once mixture thickens remove from heat.
Add cheese, mix until smooth.
Stir in mustard & salt.
Pour cheese over broccoli.
Mix until evenly coated.
Serving size is approx 1 cup.
