Buttermilk Substitutions
Ingredients:
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
lemon juice, raw
vinegar, distilled
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
cream, whipped, cream topping, pressurized
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
yogurt, greek, plain, nonfat
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
cream, sour, cultured
Directions:
Mix any one of the combinations thoroughly, and let stand on the counter for at least 10 minutes.
Note: The original recipe said 1 PART milk to 2 PARTS of either the yogurt or sour cream, but this computer doesn't recognize 'parts', so I subbed in the cups.
