Anzac Biscuits
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
shortening confectionery, coconut (hydrogenated) and or palm kernel (hydrogenated)
butter, without salt
syrup, maple, canadian
water, bottled, generic
leavening agents, baking soda
Directions:
sift flour
add oats and coconut
melt butter
add golden syrup and water
add bi-carb and let froth
add to dry ingredients immediately
mix well
take small amounts and flatten thinly onto greased baking trays, allow room between each for spreading
cook in slow oven as they burn easily
