Apple Catsup (Ketchup)

Ingredients:
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
spices, ginger, ground
spices, cinnamon, ground
spices, cloves, ground
mustard, prepared, yellow
spices, onion powder
salt, table
vinegar, distilled
spices, pepper, black

Directions:
Combine all ingredients and bring to a simmer.
Simmer over medium low heat until thickened, stirring occasionally.
