Applesauce Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
onions, raw
butter, without salt
lemon juice, raw
sauce, worcestershire
catsup
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
salt, table
Directions:
1.
Place onions and butter in a deep, 1 1/2-qt, heat- resistant, non-metallic casserole.
2.
Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 2 min or possibly till onion is tender.
3.
Add in lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, applesauce and salt.
4.
Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 7 min or possibly till sauce is bubbly.
