Simply Smashing Squash
Ingredients:
squash, winter, butternut, raw
syrup, maple, canadian
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
salt, table
spices, pepper, black
Directions:
Peel squash and cut in half lengthwise; scoop out the seeds and cut into 1" pieces.
In a large saucepan, bring 1" of water to boil.
Add squash and return to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until squash is tender.
Drain.
Puree squash with remaining ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
