Aunt Martha's Ginger Snaps Recipe

Ingredients:
butter, without salt
spices, ginger, ground
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking soda
molasses
salt, table
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched

Directions:
Cream butter; add in sugar, and cream till smooth.
Add in molasses.
Sift flour with ginger, soda and salt.
Add in to first mix.
Form into balls the size of a small walnut.
Place on greased cookie sheets.
Flatten with the back of a Tbsp.. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 min.
Makes about 6dozen.
