Apple Cinnamon Rice
Ingredients:
rice, white, long-grain, regular, unenriched, cooked without salt
apple juice, canned or bottled, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
raisins, seeded
spices, cinnamon, ground
salt, table
parsley, fresh
Directions:
In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except parsley.
Bring to a boil and stir.
Reduce heat to simmer; cover and cook 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
Stir in parsley.
