Cheddar Cheese Sauce

Ingredients:
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
spices, pepper, red or cayenne
spices, paprika
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
cheese, cheddar

Directions:
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter.
Stir in flour and cook, stirring, 1 minute.
Season with salt, cayenne, and paprika.
Slowly stir in milk and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce bubbles and thickens, about 3 minutes.
Add cheese and stir until it melts.
Serve immediately over vegetables.
