Cinnamon Raisin Granola Bars
Ingredients:
oats
nuts, almonds
seeds, sunflower seed kernels, dried
wheat germ, crude
raisins, seeded
butter, without salt
honey
sugars, brown
vanilla extract
spices, cinnamon, ground
salt, table
Directions:
Coat a 7x11-inch baking dish with butter and line with parchment paper.
Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Spread oats, almonds, and seeds on baking sheet in an even layer and toast for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Watch carefully so they dont burn.
When toasted, place mixture into a large bowl and combine with wheat germ and raisins.
Set aside.
Reduce oven temperature to 300 F.
In a small saucepan, cook butter, honey, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat.
Coat oatmeal mixture with sugar mixture then pour evenly into baking dish, and lightly press down.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.
Cool to room temperature before cutting into squares.
Store in an airtight container.
