Slightly Bitter Caramel Sauce Made Easily in the Microwave
Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
water, bottled, generic
water, bottled, generic
Directions:
Add the ingredients in a microwave-safe container, and microwave for 3 minutes and 20 seconds at 700 W. If you like your sauce to be sweet, keep an eye on it, and once it turns slightly brown, remove from the microwave.
It should be removed a bit earlier than 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
When pouring the water into the container, the piping hot caramel will splatter.
So in order to prevent yourself from getting burnt, place on a lid (I used a milk carton), shift it a little to one side, and pour the water through the small opening.
Once it stops splattering, stir well And your slightly bitter caramel sauce is now ready.
Recently, I have been making puddings using the steam cooker, and I like to serve it with this sauce.
