Grandma Marys Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
apples, raw, with skin
lemon juice, raw
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, brown
oats
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
leavening agents, baking soda
Directions:
Slice apples, toss with the lemon juice, and layer in a 9 x 9 baking dish.
Combine dry ingredients, and then use a fork to smash the butter throughout the mixture.
Spread on top of the apples.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until top is browned and apples are tender.
