Sweet Corn Tomalito- Vegetarian
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
corn, sweet, white, raw
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
corn, sweet, white, raw
salt, table
corn, sweet, white, raw

Directions:
This side dish is appropriate for lacto-vegetarians.
Preheat oven to 350F
Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Work corn flour into mixture until moist
Add milk, salt, baking powder and cornmeal to mixture.
Stir until ingredients are moist.
Add pureed corn and corn kernels, stir until mixed thoroughly.
Put mixture into 8x8 baking pan.
Nest pan with mixture in a 13x9 pan and add water to the larger pan until half full.
Cover the pans with foil, place in oven and bake for 75 minutes.
Check to ensure baking is complete.
Remove from oven.
Allow to cool to a suitable temperature before serving.
