Poppy Seed Waffles with Lemon Cream
Ingredients:
Lemon Product:
1 large egg
2 huge egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup new lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
1 cup heavy cream
Directions:
1. Plan the lemon product: in a medium-measurement bowl, whisk together the egg, egg yolks, and sugar. Slowly but surely add the lemon juice, whisking until nicely mixed. Move the mixture to a medium-size saucepan and cook over medium heat, whisking normally, for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the blend starts to thicken. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the lemon zest. Shift the mixture to a shallow bowl and make it possible for great to area temperature. Refrigerate for 2 hrs, or until correctly chilled.
