Mexican Wedding Cakes Recipe

Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, powdered
vanilla extract
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
nuts, walnuts, english
sugars, powdered

Directions:
In large bowl beat butter, 1/2 c. sugar and vanilla together.
Work flour into the mix till it holds together.
Stir in nuts.
Divide mix into 4 equal portions.
Divide each portion into 12 pcs.
Using the palms of your hands, roll each piece into a small ball.
Makes 48.
Place cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in 200 degrees C. or possibly 400 degrees F. oven for 10 min.
Don't allow cookies to brown.
While still warm, toss 1 at a time in icing sugar.
The sugar melts to create a slight glaze.
Set the cookies to cold on a second cookie sheet on platter.
When cold, roll the cookies in additional icing sugar.
