Mom's Classic Blueberry Crisp
Ingredients:
blueberries, raw
oats
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, brown
butter, without salt
spices, cinnamon, ground
spices, nutmeg, ground
Directions:
If using the oven, preheat to 350 and butter the 8x8 glass baking pan.
Place blueberries in 8x8 glass baking pan.
(or any other fruit combo you'd like to try)
In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients except butter.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over berries.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until fruit is bubbling and crumble is slightly browned.
(Otherwise microwave for 12 to 14 minutes on medium high)
Let cool, and serve with icecream.
