COCKTAIL
As Helen Rowland at the time claimed, “A widow is a interesting remaining with the taste of maturity, the spice of expertise, the piquancy of novelty, the tang of practiced coquetry, and the halo of one man’s acceptance.” We couldn’t comprise claimed it any superior.
1 1/4 ounces dry gin
1 1/4 ounces dry vermouth
1/2 teaspoon Benedictine
1/2 teaspoon absinthe
Sprint of Orange bitters
1. Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Include gin, vermouth, Benedictine, absinthe, and bitters.
3. Stir.
4. Pour into a cocktail glass.
5. Top with a lemon peel.
