A late 19th century concoction, the gimlet afterwards spawned the Kamikaze and the Cosmopolitan. Admire the pedigree.
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce Rose’s lime juice
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Incorporate gin and lime juice.
3. Swirl exceptionally effectively.
4. Pour into sugar-frosted rim chilled cocktail glass.
5. Top with lime wedge.
