TUSCAN BEAN SOUP
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces dry white kidney, cannellini, or Superior Northern beans
- 10 cups water, or far more as essential
- 1 tablespoon excess-virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound crosscut beef shanks, 1"-11„ " thick
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme, overwhelmed
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, beaten
- 1 teaspoon recently floor black pepper
- Salt to flavor
- 4 cups torn contemporary spinach leaves
Directions:
1. Assemble and measure all ingredients before beginning.
2. Prepare the pan or pot and preheat if the dish requires oven cooking.
3. Combine ingredients in sequence, stirring or layering for even cooking.
4. Cook until the texture and doneness are correct, then adjust seasoning.
5. Plate and serve hot, or chill first if the recipe is served cold.
