SPANISH BEAN SOUP

Ingredients:
- 1 pound dried white beans
- Water as expected
- 1 pound salt pork or bacon, diced
- 1 pound Spanish chorizo, diced or thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound smoked ham, diced
- 1 cup chicken, pork, or ham broth
- 4 cups water
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups kale, challenging stems eliminated and thinly sliced
- Salt and recently floor pepper to flavor

Directions:
1. Assemble and measure all ingredients before beginning.
2. Prepare the pan or pot and preheat if the dish requires oven cooking.
3. Combine ingredients in sequence, stirring or layering for even cooking.
4. Cook until the texture and doneness are correct, then adjust seasoning.
5. Plate and serve hot, or chill first if the recipe is served cold.
