Cucumbers Aren’t Just Water
Even though a cucumber is mostly water (and fiber), it is far more than a tasty, thirst-quenching, and filling
snack option. These green veggies have detoxifying and rehydrating properties. By consuming one
serving of cucumbers per day, you’ll not only fulfill a full serving of veggies and stave off hunger, you’ll
have clear, hydrated skin!
1. Combine romaine, cucumbers, mint, and 1⁄ cup coconut milk in a blender and
2
combine thoroughly.
2. Add remaining coconut milk while blending.
3. Divide smoothie mixture into 4 glasses. Top each glass with 1 tablespoon coconut
flakes to garnish.
Spiced Cashew Butter Smoothie
Mix up the usual peanut butter– and almond butter–filled smoothies by swapping
in cashew butter instead! Cashew butter is slightly sweet and very creamy. Raw
cashew butter is best, as it contains higher levels of nutrients than its roasted
counterparts.
