Sauce Recipe in opposition to Cafe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dry purple wine
- 2 ounce chopped shallots
- 1/4 teaspoon beaten peppercorns
- Pinch of thyme
- 1/2 Bay leaf
- 1 quart demi-glace
- 2 ounces butter
Directions:
1. Mix wine, shallots, peppercorns, thyme, Bay leaf inside of sauce pan
2. Cook slowly and gradually right up until very low by means of 3-fourths (liquid will be 1/4 of the authentic volume, that's why the style!)
3. Mix in demi-glace
4. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes, then minimize 2 ounces of butter into components and swirl within just
5. Retain the services of automatically or retail store inside fridge. Interesting within just a shallow pan.
