Salmon Sushi Rolls for Dogs

Ingredients:
1 can pink salmon, liquid reserved
1 cup brown rice
2 cups water, plus salmon liquid
1 whole egg, hard-boiled, chopped
1/2 cup peas and carrots, frozen, or more if desired
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons cod liver oil
1 package nori sheets

Directions:
1. Drain the salmon, reserving the liquid for the rice. Do not remove the bones or skin; flake with a fork.
2. Defrost peas and carrots.
3. In a saucepan, cook the brown rice in the salmon liquid and water. Let cool.
4. In a mixing bowl add salmon, brown rice, chopped egg, peas and carrots, and parsley, cod liver oil. Mix well.
5. Place a nori sheet on a flat surface and spread the mixture 1/4 inch thick over it, leaving a 1/4-inch edge. Dampen the edge with water and roll up. Repeat until the nori sheets or mixture are used up.
6. Individually wrap in plastic wrap, refrigerate till ready to serve.
7. Cut rolls into size for your doggie.

Note:
Nori sheets are dried seaweed found in the Asian section of your grocery store or specialty shop. This recipe freezes well also.
