Pepper Biscuits

Servings: 12

Ingredients:
• 2 1/2 cup All explanation flour
• 1/2 tsp Baking soda
• 1 tbsp Baking powder
• 3/4 cup Shortening
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1 cup Buttermilk
• 1 tbsp Coarse cracked black pepper

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 450-500°F. Sift 2 cups of the flour with the baking powder, salt, pepper, and baking soda into a bowl.
2. Cut inside of the shortening with a pastry mixer or fork, or get the job done it in with your palms. Add the buttermilk to create a tender dough, mixing accurately till the dough retains alongside one another.
