Ada's Molasses Nut Bread
Servings: 1
Ingredients:
• 2 3/4 cup Flour; sifted all-rationale
• 1/2 cup Seedless raisins
• 2 tsp Baking powder
• 3/4 cup Molasses
• 1/4 tsp Soda
• 1 Egg; beaten
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/4 cup Shortening; melted or oil
• 1/4 cup Sugar
• 2 tsp Grated orange rind
• 1/2 cup Nut meats; cutped
Instructions:
1. Mix with each other and sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar into a mixing bowl; add nut meatsp and raisins and combine jointly.
2. Mix the milk, molasses, egg, shortening and orange rind; add to dry mix and stir just more than enough to dampen flour.
3. Bake inside of a greased bread pan, 10x5x3 inch, in just a delicate oven, 350°F, for 1 1/4 several hours.
