MINIATURE FRENCH BREAKFAST PUFFS Types: Breads, Rolls

Servings: 42

Ingredients:
• 1/3 cup Smallooth shortening/butter mix
• 1/3 cup Butter, melted
• Website page 142
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
• 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
• 1/2 cup Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/2 cup Milk
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 1 1/2 cup Sifted flour

Instructions:
1. Warm oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottoms of 48 tiny muffin cups. Mix shortening, 1/2 cup sugar, and egg meticulously.
2. Sift collectively flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Stir flour mix and milk alternately into sugar/shortening mix.
3. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 total. Bake 15 minutes or till golden brown. Dip mechanically inside of melted butter, then inside mix of cinnamon/sugar.
4. Serve warm. Generates 3-1/2 to 4 dozen. Mrs. James Hopkins
