Santa Claus Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Creamy Frosting -- (recipe follows)
OR
1 1/2 cups Chocolate Frosting -- (see recipe)
Miniature marshmallows
Red sugar
Currants or semisweet chocolate chips
Red cinnamon candies
Shredded coconut
