BOB EVANS
Ingredients:
1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium zucchini, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium yellow summer squash, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
6 long metal or bamboo skewers (if bamboo, soak in water before use)
12 ounces large white mushrooms, stemmed
2 cups Bob Evans Wildfire Barbecue Sauce, or other barbecue sauce
Directions:
1. Light a charcoal barbecue or heat a gas grill to medium. Clean the grate and
coat it with vegetable oil.
2. Thread the pieces of sausage and vegetables alternately on skewers.
3. Grill the kabobs 10 to 12 minutes, turning frequently, while basting with the
barbecue sauce.
4. Serve hot.
Serves 6
If using bamboo skewers, soak them in warm water at least 15 minutes
before using. These kabobs are equally tasty simply seasoned with a little
olive oil, salt, and pepper. A sprinkling of your favorite fresh herb will add a
delicious twist.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL BLEND OF SAUSAGE AND GROUND BEEF. MAKE THE PATTIES
AHEAD OF TIME SO THEY ARE WELL-CHILLED WHEN THEY HIT THE GRILL. IT WILL KEEP
THE PARMESAN CHEESE IN THE MIXTURE FROM MELTING TOO RAPIDLY.
