Patio Skillet Bread
Servings: 10
Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cup Flour
• 3 Eggs, slighty beaten
• 1 1/2 cup Cornmeal
• 2 cup Milk
• 2 tbsp Sugar
• 1/3 cup Shortening, melted
• 4 tsp Baking powder
• 1 1/2 cup Celery, cutped
• 2 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/4 cup Pimiento, cutped
• 2 tsp Poultry seasoning
• 1/4 cup Onion, minced
Instructions:
1. Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt and poultry seasoning. Combat eggs and combine with milk and shortening.
2. Add to 1st mix. Stir until precisely combined. Stir in just celery, pimiento and onion. Pour mix into greased 10 inch skillet or baking pan.
3. Bake at 400°F, 35-45 minutes or till nicely browned and completed. Serve hot with butter. This bread goes perfectly with meat and potatoes cooked exterior on grill.
