Cinnamon and Clove Apple Cider

Ingredients:
□ 12 apples
□ 3 cinnamon sticks
□ 2 oranges, sliced
□ 1/4 cup honey or 1/2 teaspoon stevia powder extract
□ 5 drops Clove essential oil

Directions:
Fill a 6 quart stock pot with three fourths full of water. Quarter the apples and
place them into the pot. Boil the apples with the lid on over medium heat until the
apples are soft, about 30 minutes. Use an immersion blender to purée the mixture
until blended. Pour the mixture through a wire mesh strainer over a large bowl.
Pour the strained liquid back into pot and add the cinnamon sticks and orange
slices. Simmer the cider for 15 more minutes. Dissolve the honey into the cider
and mix in clove essential oil. Serve with a ladle into coffee cups and enjoy.
