Cinnamon Buns (The Famed Dutch Sticky Buns) Classes: Penndutch, Breads

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Milk, scalded
• 1/2 cup Raisins, cutped
• 2 tbsp Currants
• 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
• Brown sugar
• 2 tbsp Citron, finely cutped
• 1/2 cup Yeast
• *dissolved in:
• 1/4 cup Water, hot
• 3 cup Flour
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 3 tbsp Butter
Instructions:
1. Dissolve yeast inside of hot water and add to milk which contains been allowted to come to be lukewarm.
2. Add sugar (over 3 Tbsp), salt and flour, and knead carefully until it getsp a delicate dough. Place the dough inside a buttered bowl and butter the supreme of the dough.
3. Cover bowl and put in a hot issue. Allow it to stand until the dough resultsp in being 3 instances itsp initial dimension.
4. Roll until it is one fourth of an inch inside of thickness, brush with butter and spread with the raisins, currants, citron, brown sugar and cinnamon.
5. Roll as a jelly roll and slice into slices 3/4 inch thick. Place slices inside buttered pans, spread nicely with brown sugar, and bake at 400-F for 20 minutes.
