Traditional Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
leavening agents, baking soda
spices, nutmeg, ground
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
cream, sour, cultured
Directions:
Combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg in a small dish.
Cream the butter and sugar in a large dish, blend in the sour cream and then add dry ingredients.
Chill for 1 to 2 hours.
Roll out the dough until it is 1/2 inch thick on a sugar and floured surface.
Cut with the cookie cutter and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
Cool before icing.
