Polka-Dot Cherry Cookies in a Jar
Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
oats
cherries, sweet, raw
nuts, walnuts, english
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
Directions:
Layer sugar in a one-quart, wide-mouth jar; set aside.
Mix together the next 4 ingredients; add to the jar, packing down gently.
Layer the remaining ingredients in the order given.
Secure lid and attach instructions.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, cream 1/2 cup butter; add in 1 egg.
Blend in cookie mix; mix well.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a 375 oven for 10-12 minutes.
Cool cookies on a wire rack.
