A Very Special Gnocchi
Ingredients:
potatoes, raw, skin
bacon, meatless
leeks, (bulb and lower leaf-portion), raw
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
cheese, parmesan, hard
cheese, cheddar
chicken, broiler or fryers, breast, skinless, boneless, meat only, raw
spinach, raw
Directions:
Cook gnocchi according to package directions.
Set aside.
Saute bacon until crisp.
Set aside.
Saute leeks in bacon fat.
In medium saucepan, melt butter.
Over medium heat, whisk in flour.
Whisk in milk, stirring constantly until boiling.
Add cheeses & stir until melted.
In large bowl, combine all components & stir well, adding spinach last.
